We Want to Share with You
Child Aid is always eager to share our knowledge gained over our last 20 years of work in Mexico and Guatemala. The more people know about our neighbors in Latin America, the better they will be able comprehend the obstacles that stand in the way of children having a chance for a better future.
Hard to Imagine
For most people in the developed world, it is difficult to imagine libraries and schools without even basic supplies such as paper and chalk let alone textbooks or literature. The simple act of having a book to read is foreign to children in most indigenous towns and villages.
Child Aid believes strongly in the power of committed individuals to create change. In fact, paraphrasing the oft cited statement of Margaret Meade, it is the only thing that ever has caused such lasting change. That is why we are working hard to create a community of committed and caring partners, volunteers and supporters who believe that all children regardless of where they are born deserve a chance in life.
