Two Ways to Give
Child Aid offers two ways to give:
(1) Join our faithful monthly donors who provide ongoing support to libraries and schools in rural Guatemala by providing books, training and other literacy programs. To become a monthly donor, click on the “Subscribe” button below. (If you would like to make a monthly donation in an amount that is not listed, please contact our offices at 503-223-3008 and we will create a special link for your donation.)
(2) If you prefer to make a onetime donation, simply click the “Donate” button below.
Safe and Secure
Child Aid uses the extremely secure PayPal site for processing online donations for two reasons: low fees, and advanced security. There is no need for you to join PayPal to donate, PayPal simply acts as a secure payment handler for Child Aid.
Detailed Instructions
To become a monthly donor, please choose an amount you want to donate monthly and then click Subscribe. For a onetime donation, please click on the Donate button. This will take you to PayPal’s secure website to enter your payment information.
If you do not have a PayPal account and do not want to get one, be sure to click on Continue under the section “Don’t have a PayPal account?”
If you have a PayPal account, be sure to log in. For monthly donors, the amount you chose to give monthly will be displayed. For one-time donors, you will need to enter the amount of your donation and click Update Total. (To pay with a bank account, you will need to set up a PayPal account.)
Once you have clicked on Update Total, you will enter your debit/credit card information. Be sure to enter the 3 or 4 digit security code.
Once you have entered the credit/debit card information, click on Review Donation and Continue. It is on this page that you will have the opportunity to enter any special Donor Instructions including donations made in honor or memory of someone else. Be sure to include the name, address and/or email address if you want a tribute sent to the person(s) you are honoring.
Didn’t see the Donor Instructions box? No worries. Simply email (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and let us know your special instructions.
You will need to click on the “Donate $xx.xx USD Now” button for your donation to be processed and a confirmation screen to come up. Child Aid will then receive a notification letting us know of your donation.
