Our Responsibility to You
Over its history, Child Aid has made sure that over 90% of all donations received have gone to programs. We take very seriously our responsibility to our donors to assure that their support is used in the most efficient and effective manner. No money goes to big or fancy office space. With the support of volunteers and a hard working staff, we are able to keep overhead to a minimum and impact on the lives of children and communities to a maximum. We consider our donors as partners who are helping us through their monetary and material support to build brighter futures for the children of Latin America.
We Want You To Be Informed
We believe strongly that donors should make informed decisions on those organizations they consider supporting. While there are some ratings organizations that provide assistance, their ratings are based on a limited and often arbitrary set of criteria. The more complete data contained in an organization’s Internal Revenue Service Form 990 gives the fullest picture. We have included ours here to assist you. Of course, you are always free to contact us with any questions you may have. We enjoy discussing our work and our commitment to our supporters.
