U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley is a long-time supporter of Child Aid and our mission to help vulnerable children in Guatemala get a foothold in life through the power of education. During the ongoing immigration and border crisis, he has shown steadfast compassion and leadership in advocating for practical solutions and the humane treatment of refugees at our borders.
Therefore, we are thrilled that U.S. Senator Merkley fully endorses Child Aid’s important literacy work as an integral part of a long-term, effective solution to the root causes of migration in Guatemala.
