Together we have delivered one million books to the children of Guatemala!
Thanks to our generous donors, dedicated staff and corporate partners, we have achieved this amazing milestone – one million Spanish-language books for Child Aid classrooms across the rural highlands of Guatemala.

Child Aid works with schools and communities throughout the rural highlands of Guatemala. Over the years, our amazing team has developed the logistics and infrastructure needed to deliver tens of thousands of books to each classroom annually. These deliveries have helped communities grow and thrive.
Each year, Child Aid, along with its partners at Scholastic Books, purchases and ships more than 70,000 books to Guatemala. But that is just the beginning. The diagram below illustrates what it takes to get these books from a warehouse in the United States to the classrooms of rural Guatemala.
We’re thrilled to have delivered one million books, but we are nowhere near done!
