Sponsoring a school for one or more years sets that school on a path to success by helping children learn and thrive.
How it works
By selecting and sponsoring a school, your resources will ensure that over 20,000 students have access to Child Aid´s proven literacy model thus providing the means to break out of the cycle of poverty.
The goal is to achieve full sponsorships for all 124 schools in 2026.
There are three levels of sponsorship. The levels are based on the size of the school. If you would like to choose a school and sponsor a school, fill out the form below and we will reach out to start the process.
- $5,000 for schools up to 100 students,
- $7,500 for schools with 101 to 250 students
- $10,000 for schools with 251 up to 1,000 students.
Host a Fundraiser
Want to host a fundraiser to sponsor a school? We have put together a fundraising kit In response to requests from our donors for an “easy way to help.” The kit makes hosting easy, as it helps you plan and execute your event. The goal is to make it easy (and fun!) for you gather a group of friends and family with the goal of jointly sponsoring a school. Learn more about it here.
What your sponsorship provides
High-Quality Teacher Training
Child Aid workshops give teachers practical strategies for developing student’s reading and writing skills.
Books for classrooms
Teachers receive colorful, engaging children’s books to use for classroom activities and literacy instruction. Child Aid also provides bookcases and a lending library model to help students keep reading outside of school hours.
one-on-one coaching sessions
A Child Aid literacy trainer visits the school throughout the year to provide teachers coaching, support and encouragement.
School Reading Programs
Child Aid works with schools to establish reading spaces, book lending and after-school reading clubs that help foster a lifelong love of learning.
