writing Corners
Creating space for learning.
Writing corners are spaces dedicated to the creative process. Stocked with the tools of trade, these epicenters of activity allow students to learn how to craft a story from start to finish.
Writing corners inspire students to write stories, poems and more. Child Aid teachers are encouraged to decorate and stock their writing corners with all that their students need to spark their creativity. Magazine clippings, glue, scissors, blank paper, crayons, markers, and more make writing fun and interactive. The best writing corners also feature the original stories of the students – fostering a sense of pride in their accomplishment for every student that participates.
Writing corners are just one way that Child Aid facilitates classroom development as part of its literacy program. Learn more about classroom development.
